Hi everyone,

Hope you enjoyed Saturday, racing and evening as much as we enjoyed putting on this great event for you.

Congratulations Bunny Nicholson “V” winning the “Des Townson Memorial Trophy”

Congratulations Don Lidgard “E” winning the “Dennis Connor Boot Trophy”

Lack of wind on Saturday morning unfortunately cut down the number of races we could get in but from my point of view it made “check in” a cruiser start to the day.

20 entries made a nice fleet to work with.

I have passed on our thanks to the “Accidental Café” for the lovely lunch.
I have also passed on our thanks to the motel guys for their wonderful help and for the use of the conference room for dinner and the prize giving.
Thanks also to the Hamilton Model Boat guys for the use of the boat etc.

Bunny for doing the Friday check in (we couldn’t get down till 9.45pm due to a wedding in Auckland)

Denise Parker (Steve’s lovely wife) for her total help on Saturday with the Racing
