It seems no 2 days are the same in this part of the world weather wise. It was cool and damp all morning but we did have a consistant wind from the south which allowed for a long course the full length of the pond.
As always there was a tricky bit in the middle which was a little fluky but giving the light air experts a chance to shine. None better than Ron P. who showed us his transom a few times gaining a 2nd on line and 1st on handicap, well done! also to Graham M. for creditable 3rd on handicap.
I was trialling the Wind Warrior sails again and had a better showing today than last week it takes time to fine tune any new sails. The sail trialling programme is going well and it appears that Black Magic and Wind Warrior sails to be the choice for consistency and shape and the EOA will make an announcement in the new year to confirm the use of both sail makers.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Cheers Bunny.
